FAQ’s – Kiosk
Q. Am I allowed to bring my own food and drinks into the Beer Garden?
A. NO, non-Aqua Blue food and drinks are not permitted in the Beer Garden. We ask that you treat our licenced area as you would treat another Pub or Hotel. Licenced venues and food businesses across Australia have this type of policy and Aqua Blue is no different. We hope that when our customers consider the Liquor licencing conditions, our commitment to food safety, the protection of staff and customers, waste management logistics etc, then they will understand why this policy exists.
Q. Will the Kiosk remain open after Sunset?
A. Yes, the Kiosk kitchen will remain open for food orders until 10pm. After 10pm small snacks and nibbles will be available through the Beer Garden bar, which will be open until the advertised closing time of 12.30am.
Q. Do Children have to pay?
A. Children under 2 are free but the cover charge applies to all other guests.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. No, unfortunately dogs will not be permitted in the Beer Garden from 6pm NYE. We love having dogs at the Aqua Blue Kiosk and we happily provide water facilities, dog treats and even the occasional stuffed toy to many of the wonderful dogs that visit us. Sadly, the evidence indicates that Fireworks and dogs just don’t mix, with many dogs suffering extraordinarily high levels of anxiety. Adding large crowds, other dogs and a highly charged atmosphere to the possible anxiety they may be feeling from the fireworks could lead to unusual behaviour and potential safety concerns for both dog and public alike.
Q. Will you still be serving Fish and Chips on the night?
A. Yes, we will! We know you love our awesome Fish and amazing Chips, and we wouldn’t dream of keeping you from them …BUT… we will be making a few changes for the night and offering a special New Years Eve menu. The changes will help us provide fresh, flavoursome and fast food and let customers spend more time having fun and less time waiting in line.
Q. Are we able to reserve tables?
A. No, tables cannot be reserved or booked. Tables will be chosen on a first come, first served basis from 6pm onwards. We will try and ensure that everyone has access to a table and chairs, and everyone will be comfortable. The Aqua Blue team will need to clear and prepare the area (30-60 minutes) prior to 6 pm so earlier access to tables will not be possible. Q. May I bring a Picnic Hamper and picnic blanket?
A. Unfortunately there will not be enough room for Picnic blankets. The 200-person capacity has been set to allow everyone to enjoy a safe and comfortable night without overcrowding. We want everyone to have access to a table and chairs (we are hiring extras for the night) but once these are spaced out there will not be enough room for a Blankets and rugs etc.

Q. May I visit a food van and then eat in the Beer Garden?
A. As mentioned previously non-Aqua Blue food and drinks are not to be consumed in the Beer Garden during the NYE event. Of course, you are allowed to come and go from the Beer Garden as often as you like (but please be sure to wear the security wrist band to ensure re-entry). When you leave you can purchase food from one of the visiting food vans but we respectfully ask that you finish the food before returning to the Beer Garden.
